An Affirming Statement of Welcome We, the Congregation of Grace UCC of Loyal Oak, welcome you…. If you are Asian, Hispanic, Black, or White; If you are male, female, or transgendered; If you are 5 days old, 25, 55, or 105; If you’ve never been in a church, temple, cathedral or mosque; If you are single, married, widowed, divorced, separated, partnered; If you are straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or yet unsure of your sexuality; If you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, Socialist, Libertarian, or no party at all; If you are pro life, or pro choice; If you have, or have had addictions, phobias, or a criminal record; If you have a disability of any kind or not; If you own your home, rent, live with parents, or are homeless; However the rest of the world describes you, and however you describe yourself: YOU ARE WELCOME AT GLO!
Just Peace - Open and Affirming Congregation We are a Just Peace (a justice-doing, peace-seeking church, opposed to the institution of war) and an Open and Affirming Congregation (full inclusion lesbian, gay, bisexual orientation, ethnicity, economic class, marital status, or physical/mental abilities and encourages all to share the life and leadership of this congregation. GOD IS STILL SPEAKING!
